Grace Bukunmi is a photographer, creative director and stylist who is also sought after as a lifestyle, fashion + travel influencer.
As an International Relations & Arts student, Grace honed in on her artistry while simultaneously exploring fashion, photography, body politics & foreign affairs. After a brief stint as a content director, Bukunmi launched her freelance photography career with commissioned work from Elle, Highsnobiety, Hypebeast & Complex while growing a styling portfolio that includes musicians Martin Garrix and Alicia Keys & brands such as Nike and Target. Most recently, her photoshoots, artwork, interviews & features can be found on the pages of Vogue, Teen Vogue, Popsugar, Complex, Galore, Ladygunn, Refinery29, AfroPunk, NY Times and The Cut or stowed within the visual archives at brands such as VSCO, Reebok Adidas, Motorola Solutions and Diesel.
She has also provided multi-platform social coverage at several major music and art festivals for both publishers and brands. Her interviews for both types of clients range from artists such as Migos and Joey Badass to artists such as Sean Paul and Travis Scott.
Her most recent work centers around the female gaze and identities of otherness. To achieve such means, she’s teamed up with organizations such as Unity in Color, and Nasty Women Portraits to share stories of inclusivity and solidarity.
The thread that ties Bukunmi’s work is her fascination with finding beauty and light in every form of humanity and sharing that light for all the world to see.
